Here’s how it works. Approach a blog in your niche with an offer to write a post for their blog. The only condition? You get a little bio spot or an introduction that includes a link to your site.
What does in accomplish? The host blogger gets a brand new piece of fresh, original content for free. You get a potentially valuable backlink and some direct traffic from the host’s reader base.
It’s a great way to get your name ‘out there’ and to find some new readers. It’s also a good way to develop a fast burst of absolute free traffic. If you’re not guest posting, you’re missing out. Sure, it requires a little work (you gotta write that post, after all) and some organization, but it’s a great way to promote your site without spending a single penny of your own money.
